Our churches are open to everyone for services but are locked at other times.
There is hand sanitiser available at the entrances and we have NHS QR codes for you to register upon entry for track and trace and/or we can manually record your attendance at a service. We would encourage all attendees to wear a mask if possible and we may ask you to sit in a specific location to ensure that we can maximise the congregation size whilst maintaining distancing.
We have resumed singing hymns in services but maybe fewer than pre Covid times. Refreshments may be served after the service but we understand that you may prefer to leave the building promptly after the formal service is complete. At Communion the bread is distributed by the presiding minister to the congregation who remain in their seats. Once all communicants have received the bread the minister returns to the Altar and invites everyone to consume the bread at the same time. The Chalice is not shared, the minister is the only person to take wine. These measures have been taken to minimise the risk of spreading Covid.
