Safeguarding

We are committed to the safeguarding, care, nurture and pastoral  ministry of everyone within our church community including but not  limited to: children, young adults, vulnerable adults and victims of  domestic abuse.
We have adopted and follow Church of England and Diocese of Worcester  policy, guidelines and safer recruitment practice guidance. We keep our  safeguarding records up to date and respond promptly when required.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.  We all have a duty of care to protect children & adults in our churches.
What you should do if you have concerns
Where there are suspicions of abuse but where no allegation of abuse has  been made, you should share your concerns with, and seek guidance from,  the Vicar, Parish Safeguarding Administrator and/or Diocesan Safeguarding Administrator.

The vicars contact details are above

The Parish safeguarding administrator for all of our parishes is
Mary Weller, 01299 832816,  safeguarding@wyreforestwest.org.uk

The Diocesan Safeguarding officer
Hilary Higton, 07495 060869, hhigton@cofe-worcester.org.uk

PCC

Each of our parishes has a Parochial Church Council (PCC).  It is the executive committee consisting of clergy and churchwardens of the parish, together with representatives from the community.  Legally the council is responsible for the financial affairs of the parish and the maintenance of its assets, such as churches and church halls, and for promoting the mission of the church.
